Host a Minecraft server from the launcher
The Hosting tab runs a Minecraft: Java Edition server on your computer or on Enzonic Cloud. On your computer, a tunnel gives it a public address, so friends can join without port forwarding.

Option 1: on your computer
Open Hosting › Your computer and create a server:
- Pick the server software and Minecraft version. The launcher downloads the server (from MCJars) and the Java version it needs.
- Tick the box to accept the Minecraft EULA. The launcher never accepts it for you.
- Start the server. The Overview tab shows a public address with a copy button.
The server page has tabs for the console (with command history and quick actions), players (op, kick, ban, whitelist), settings (game mode, difficulty, MOTD with a preview, server icon), worlds (backups and downloads), performance (TPS graph and RAM), automation (restart on crash, automatic backups, a Discord webhook) and mods and plugins.
The public address
Your computer keeps an outbound connection to a relay, and players connect to the relay instead of to your home IP address. That is why no router setup is needed, including behind carrier-grade NAT.
The launcher always uses Enzonic Relay:
- Signed in with an Enzonic account: the free tier. Friends join
yourname.r.enzonic.devwithout a port, and the name stays yours. - Not signed in: one server at a time gets a temporary address such as
brave-otter042.r.enzonic.dev. It changes every time you start sharing and is released after 24 hours without use, with up to 10 players at once. Sign in to keep a name of your choice.
Running your own relay? Set its address under Settings › Hosting (see Enzonic Tunnel); leave it empty for Enzonic Relay.
Your computer has to stay on while people play. If the relay cannot be reached, the share panel says so; LAN play keeps working.
Option 2: Enzonic Cloud
Create a server on Enzonic's hosting from the same tab. The free tier includes:
| Resource | Free tier |
|---|---|
| RAM | 3.5 GB |
| CPU | 2 vCPU (200%) |
| SSD storage | 5 GB |
| When idle | Hibernates after 15 minutes without players |
Paid plans are offered on enzonic.com. The server panel opens inside the launcher on Windows and Linux and in your browser on macOS.
Which one should I use?

| Uses your hardware | Yes, as much as you give it | No |

Frequently asked questions
Do I need to port forward?
No. Both options give your server an address friends can type in. On your computer, the tunnel handles it.
Can Bedrock players join?
Enzonic Launcher hosts Java Edition servers. For a Bedrock server you run yourself, Enzonic Relay has Bedrock tunnels.
Is there a player limit?
Your own server sets its own maximum. Enzonic Tunnel accepts players from up to 3 IP addresses per tunnel; the Enzonic Relay free tier allows 20 players at once per tunnel.
Is there a step-by-step guide?
Yes: How to host a Minecraft server without port forwarding.
Enzonic Launcher is free for Windows, macOS and Linux. It requires Minecraft: Java Edition.
