Minecraft launcher for Mac
Enzonic Launcher has separate builds for Apple silicon and Intel Macs, each with its own Java runtime inside. Here is how to install it and what to expect on macOS.
Updated October 17, 2026
Requirements
- macOS 11 Big Sur or later.
- An Apple silicon (M-series) or Intel Mac. Pick the matching download; the Apple silicon build runs natively without Rosetta.
- Minecraft: Java Edition on a Microsoft account.
Install
- On the download section, choose macOS, Apple silicon (.zip) or macOS, Intel (.zip). Not sure which Mac you have? Apple menu › About This Mac shows "Chip: Apple M…" or "Processor: Intel".
- Open the zip and move Enzonic Launcher to Applications.
- The app is not notarized by Apple yet, so the first time, right-click (or Control-click) it and choose Open, then confirm.
- If macOS still refuses, open System Settings › Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway. Advanced users can run
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/Enzonic Launcher.app"instead.
Before opening any download, you can compare its SHA-256 with the value shown on the download page: run shasum -a 256 on the file in Terminal.
Signing in on a Mac
On macOS, Microsoft sign-in uses a device code: the launcher shows a code and opens Microsoft's page in your browser, where you enter it. Nothing is typed into the launcher itself.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a Minecraft launcher for M1, M2, M3 or M4 Macs?
Yes. The Apple silicon build of Enzonic Launcher runs natively on every M-series Mac and includes an Apple silicon Java runtime. Minecraft itself also gets the right Java version automatically.
Why does macOS say the app cannot be opened?
Because it is not notarized yet. Right-click the app and choose Open, or use Open Anyway in System Settings › Privacy & Security. Only do this for a file you downloaded from launcher.enzonic.com.
Is it on Homebrew?
Not yet. A Homebrew cask is prepared but not published; until then, use the zip from the download page.
Does it need Rosetta?
Not on Apple silicon if you download the Apple silicon build. The Intel build is for Intel Macs.
Enzonic Launcher is free for Windows, macOS and Linux. It requires Minecraft: Java Edition.
